Area moms fantasize about the perfect Mother's Day; Chocolates will give 1 mom some TLC To make the task a little sweeter, the Journal Sentinel randomly chose one of the readers who shared a Mother's Day fantasy as winner of a 1-pound box of Godiva chocolates. The lucky recipient is Narva Biles of Milwaukee, whose name was sent in by her daughter, Robbie Boyd, and grandson Branden. Robbie had this Mother's Day fantasy for her mother: "Mom is there for everyone, so I wish she could just have some time for herself, maybe a mental-health week alone. "Not getting up early to cater to someone else's needs, no need to answer the phone, no need to run errands for someone else. "My mom is patient, loving, caring and kind. She's always been there for whomever needs her, and she deserves some TLC herself."

Mother's Day brings out the best in us. We shower Mom with roses,
kisses, phone calls and champagne brunches, trying to say thanks for
all she's done.
When we asked moms to tell us about their secret Mother's Day
fantasy, 13 of the 73 who answered told us their dreams have already
come true with great kids, good husbands and a happy life.
Those women will be smiling today.
For others, the day will bring a tinge of sadness for children
lost or never conceived, for remembrances of daughters, sons and
mothers whose time on earth was cut short.
