Steep water rate increase OK'd Boost is the first for Pewaukee residential users in 10 years

The state Public Service Commission and the Pewaukee Water Utility
Commission have approved a rate increase that would boost the
average residential quarterly bill 87%.
It will be the first rate increase for Pewaukee residents in 10
years.
The increase is effective June 1, according to Frank Paulus,
village administrator. Customers will first see the impact on their
October bills.
Last November, the local utility requested an 82% increase in
