Proponents of revenue sharing worked into the evening Wednesday to
devise an acceptable formula to present today for a vote by
major-league baseball owners.
A source involved in the discussions said he still expected a
revenue-sharing plan to be approved today during a joint session of
owners. The source said it would not be the "22% plan" many
expected, however.
