German art duo taking family life for a spin in show at art museum The Blumes will bring photo display next month; Blume show to come with lots of trimmings Concerts, lectures and a dance performance are scheduled in conjunction with the showing of "Anna and Bernhard Blume Photo-Works," Feb. 9 to April 21 at the Milwaukee Art Museum. "Music in the Museum," featuring the music of Schumann and a tour of the Blume exhibit, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Admission is $15, $12 for art museum members. Peter Nisbet, an authority on 20th-century German art, will speak at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 8 in Memorial Hall of the Memorial Center. Regular admission will be charged. Dean Sobel, the art museum's curator of contemporary art, will talk about the show in the east entrance and Cudahy galleries at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and March 26. At 8 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17, the Wild Space Dance Company will present "Off Kilter," inspired by the show. Admission is $13, $11 for students, seniors, and members. A First Friday party, at 5:30 p.m. March 1, will feature music by The Ghillies and tours of the Blume show. Admission is $7 for the general public, $5 for art museum members. The art museum is open to visitors 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; noon to 9 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5, general admission; $3, students and people 65 or older. Children 12 or younger are admitted free, as are members of the art museum.
