Mountain Crest overpowers Murray

HYRUM -- Why do the Mountain Crest Mustangs even bother playing a full game? With five runs in the sixth inning of their last game and five more in the third inning of Wednesday's game against Murray, it seems all the Mustangs need is one inning to win.

"We're a streaky team," said Mountain Crest first baseman Karl Beckert.

That's an understatement.

After scoring five runs in the sixth inning for a comeback win in its last game, Mountain Crest exploded for five more to break open this game in the third and beat Murray, 9-4.
