Queen of the Faire; Actress rules 16th-century Bristol in true Elizabethan style

In a way, Mary Kababik has always been Queen of England.
For nine weekends each year for the past 12 summers, Kababik has
donned the billowed skirts, purple robes and gold crown that
transform her from a Milwaukee actress into Queen Elizabeth I at the
Bristol Renaissance Faire.
Even before that, the crown rested easy on her head, though not
because any royal blood flows in her veins. This is a role she's been
researching since she was a kid growing up in Michigan.
