Patrick Carpentier has had his eye on this weekend for some time.
It's not because the 33-year-old Canadian has old friends in the
Milwaukee area from his days as an elite-level speedskater. And it's
not because of some affinity the first-year Indy Racing League driver
holds for the Milwaukee Mile because he set the track's all-time
qualifying record while he raced in Champ Car.
It's mostly because Carpentier thinks that the Mile, as much as
any other track left on the schedule, ...
