Gar-Field Girls Headed for States; Indians Beat Stafford, Face Cave Spring in Regional Final

On the whole, Gar-Field High School girls basketball coach
Fred Milbert likes what he has seen from his team in the postseason.
By virtue of their 45-25 Northwestern Region semifinal victory
over Stafford on Thursday, the No. 6 Indians earned a spot in the
AAA state tournament for the third straight year. First, Gar-Field
will host Cave Spring tonight at 7 for the region championship.
Gar-Field lost to Pulaski County in last year's regional title game.
That is not to say Milbert can smile about every area of
Gar-Field's game.
