A tribute to Racine artist; 62-foot painting in the round showsAlaska's Prince William Sound

Racine The life journey of late artist Gary Kremen will come full circle Saturday with a showing of the Racine native's largest painting, the 62-foot-long "A Tribute to Prince William Sound."

The exhibit, "A Time to Remember," honoring the artist and the painting, will be held in the Sapphire Room of Racine's Memorial Hall downtown on the lakefront to benefit the University of Wisconsin- Parkside's Art Department.

Kremen, a 1967 Racine Horlick High School graduate, took art classes at UW-Parkside before transferring to UW-Madison, where he graduated with a degree in Land Management, according ...
