Freeze out: Iceboaters see their championship race delayed thrice
It leaves Lake Winnebago and moves to Lake Mendota
Fond du Lac -- There is a trick to being crowned the world's
fastest iceboater.
It's called patience.
This week's iceboating world championship, slated for the flat,
black ice of Lake Winnebago, was postponed Monday because of frigid
temperatures.
Tuesday's start was called off because of treacherous gusts.
