Holiday season is a challenge for those who are still in pain

Even if you and your kids are healthy, your marriage is intact, parents are alive, there's money in the bank, extended family all speaks to each other, your mailbox is filled with greetings, the calendar loaded with parties -- even if you have it ALL this holiday season, it can still be a drag.

"If you show up for my Christmas Eve spin (an exercise class done on stationary bikes), I'll give you a gift," said Kristi Clancy, my spinning coach at the gym, "I'll give you all a spin, free of holiday music."
