The phone call you've been waiting for finally comes. You are offered the job. Do you say "yes" immediately?

Most career counselors would advise you to sleep on it.

Accepting a job is a serious decision. Most candidates spent fewer than three hours with staff members of the prospective employer during the interview process. That's not a lot of time to get first- hand information.
