Driver charged with hitting, killing boy

Jeriel Coleman was driving to the wake of a friend when he struck 9-year-old Steffon Bobo and drove away without stopping, according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

Coleman, 24, is charged with failure to stop after striking a pedestrian, resulting in death, which carries a maximum penalty of six years in prison and a fine of $10,000.
