"My Big Fat Greek Life" is a big, broad comedy with one joke that it keeps repeating.

And repeating.

And repeating.

Like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," last year's surprise box-office hit, this CBS spinoff stars Nia Vardalos as a woman with an extended family whose zest for life is expressed at high volume with lots of hand gestures.
