Cedarburg set for Jazz Jubilee

Cedarburg -- Jazz, whether expressed by a scorching trumpet or a soulful vocalist, will fill the air when the Cedarburg Cultural Center holds its sixth annual Jazz Jubilee on Aug. 24.

The headline act will be a consortium of master musicians dubbed the Richard Davis-Manty Ellis Wisconsin Connection, with special guest Willie Pickens, taking the stage at 8:30 p.m.

The Badger State roots of the group are clear with the cornerstones of the ensemble, guitar master Manty Ellis, who calls Milwaukee ...
