U.N. conference will review progress and priorities for future

United Nations -- More children are in school than ever before,
there are 3 million fewer child deaths per year, and polio has been
nearly eradicated since the first World Summit for Children was held
in 1990.
Still, 10 million of the world's 2 billion children die each year
from preventable causes, every 20th child is not in school and
300,000 are fighting in wars.
On Wednesday, some 65 world leaders and delegates from more than
150 countries ...
