Willard "Bill" Davidson took to heart the tradition of bankers
serving their communities.
When Davidson retired as CEO of Marine Bank in 1983, his
commitment to the community kicked into overdrive and continued right
up to his death.
Davidson, of Shorewood, suffered a stroke on his 83rd birthday in
November. While undergoing rehabilitation, he got pneumonia and died
Monday at Columbia Hospital.
