I would like to comment on the article in the March 12 Metro section "Guinness books targeted for ban."

Guinness World Records achieves a record low in dereliction of duty to protect the innocence of its readers who are young children. In the likely event of the publisher's refusal to act to correct this highly offensive disregard of responsibility to the standards of public decency, the buck passes to the Waukesha School District, which should have been more thorough in examining the book in the first place.
