No tickets issued in motel eviction
Hockey team acted up, witnesses tell police
By LAWRENCE SUSSMAN of the Journal Sentinel staff
Tuesday, March 12, 2002
Police declined to issue tickets to a group of hockey parents from
Ozaukee County that was evicted from a Rhinelander motel but released
a report Monday in which guests say the team "was acting like
complete animals."
Police said they considered the matter one for the civil courts,
and there were indications Monday that it could be headed there. Both
the owner of the AmericInn motel in Rhinelander and the hockey group
have hired lawyers.
