Coach to be inducted to Hall of Fame

RETIRED Menlo-Atherton High School coach Ben Parks will be inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 21.

Furthermore, Parks, 72, received the Tom Bradley Community Service and Distinguished Citizen Award on March 23 from the Palo Alto chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

He coached football and wrestling at Menlo-Atherton and currently coaches wrestling at Sequoia High School. In the 1970s, he also was vice-principal at Menlo-Atherton.
