Several hundred allergy sufferers spent Saturday in Sligo Creek Park deliberately inhaling the very pollens that cause their watery eyes, sneezing, clogged nasal passages, coughs and fuzzy heads.

The purpose? A head-to-head test by the Washington Hospital Center's Institute for Asthma and Allergy of two unnamed but commonly prescribed antihistamines to treat allergies.
