Look out, Mannheim Steamroller, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is coming to get you.

Mannheim's holiday success hasn't waned, but the upstart TSO is nipping at its heels with a blend of Christmas classics and hard rock.

After two dozen sold-out shows last year, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has split into two groups and will perform in 54 cities this season. Leading the new holiday tradition back into Colorado Springs on Monday is Megadeth guitarist Al Pitrelli.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra's soaring guitar solos and symphonic- rock flourishes aren't as diametrically opposed to Megadeth's metal ...
