It took the better part of 65 minutes for Air Academy to unlock a stone-wall defense by Ponderosa.

Ultimately, Air Academy's Tyson Trujillo found the key in this tight Class 5A regional soccer game Saturday at District 20 Stadium.

Trujillo took a pass from Matt Hiner, dodged Ponderosa goalkeeper Matt Ostler and scored from point-blank range to send Air Academy to the 16-team state tournament with a 1-0 victory.
