SANTA FE - Art is the soul of Santa Fe. Its lifeblood. Its raison d'etre, if you will. And a big reason for the rest of us to go there.

In a city of 62,000 people there are more than 200 art galleries, at least four art foundries and countless artist's studios in private homes showcasing the art or craft of the person who lives there.

There are museums of international note and artists of international reputation. Some Indian, some Hispanic, some Anglo.
