Seventh Day Church expects 2,500 for its convention here

Many Christian denominations take on tough, divisive issues when
they meet formally. The Church of God (Seventh Day) expects nothing
of the sort next week, when 2,500 members gather in Colorado Springs
for its biennial convention.
"There's really nothing on the plate except worship and
fellowship," said Whaid Guscott Rose, president of the Denver-based
church, which grew out of the Seventh-Day Adventist movement in the
1880s. That doesn't mean little is going on within the Church of God
(Seventh Day), which has nearly 12,000 members at about 200 U.S.
congregations.
