Air Academy takes luster off Golden
|
Wednesday's regional playoff game against Golden didn't exactly
start out the way the Air Academy boys lacrosse team would have
liked.
The host Kadets were penalized because their goal posts weren't
painted orange and, as a result, they were forced to play the first 3
minutes a man down.
The penalty didn't hinder the outcome of the game, however, as
Air Academy rolled to a 16-6 victory.
Air Academy (10-4) advances to the state quarterfinals Saturday
against an opponent to be determined.
