Dark Horse gives 'Apes' fans something else to grunt about

Dark Horse Comics is going ape over Tim Burton's "reimagining" of a movie classic.

Dark Horse's adaptation of Burton's "The Planet of the Apes" arrives in comic shops nine days before the movie's July 27 release. The movie also has inspired a three-issue miniseries, "Planet of the Apes: The Human War," from Dark Horse; the first issue already is in stores. An ongoing series spinning off the miniseries launches in the fall.
