Florissant woman uncovers history in ghostly house/ Owner of Twin Creek Ranch researches American Indians

When Celinda Reynolds Kaelin dug a worn "For Sale" sign out of the ditch in front of a vacant ranch house near Florissant 14 years ago, she didn't know it would start her on a path as an unofficial historian of the valley where it sat.

Today, the house has been lovingly restored, but Kaelin is still digging - digging into the past of Twin Creek Ranch, the 100 acres that it includes, and the sprawling Florissant Valley where it sits.

As she neared retirement as an auditor in the Inspector General's Office at the CIA, Kaelin and husband Harold decided to move West.
