WILBUR LEONARD GEORGE
Mr. George, 80, a former Colorado Springs resident, died Feb. 15,
2001, at his home in Winner, S.D. He served in the Navy Merchant
Marines during World War II in the South Pacific. After the war, he
was a pastor at several churches in Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon and
Colorado.
Mr. George was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Beaverton, Ore., to John
and Kathryn (Ryser) George, who are deceased. He was married Dec. 25,
1941, to Sylvia Lucille Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, of Winner; six sons, David, of
Farmington, N.M., Donald, of Anacortes, Wash., Mike, of Colorado,
