Lecture series explores Asian art and architecture

Art and architecture historian Chuck Benson knows the challenges of giving a slide show/lecture at night.

"Showing slides at night is death on top of death," he says.

So in creating his three-lecture series at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center on the art and architecture of Asia, Benson says he's tried to make it "fun and accessible, a real treat and magical."

"It has to be meaningful, but you can't blow people away with so much information, they leave with steam coming out their ears."
