Customer service starts with training

You're getting complaints about poor customer service, yet you can't hire enough workers to provide better service. What is a small- business owner to do?

Start by working just as hard to attract and retain good workers as you now do to attract and retain customers, said Mark Sanborn, author of "Teambuilt: Making Teamwork Work" and a Denver-based speaker on customer service, teamwork and leadership issues.
