Elam fails kickoff test
|
DENVER - Jason Elam and a small contingent of the Denver Broncos'
brain trust went to the practice field Tuesday morning to watch the
kicker ply his trade. Elam hoped to dazzle the audience with his
performance, proving to them - and himself - that he was ready to
resume his duties.
It didn't happen.
"It didn't go as well as I wanted it to," Elam said. "My timing's
not quite there. I didn't have the bop on the ball that I wanted."
