Antiques renaissance/ Another collectibles mall set to open in the Springs

The Colorado Springs antiques scene is gathering no dust, as another specialty mall for collectors and collectibles is set to open.

David McIntosh and Jeff Weller, owners of McIntosh Weller Antiques and Montague's coffee and tea house, plan to open The Antique Mall of Colorado Springs at 118 W. Colorado Ave. on Feb. 1.

The 14,000-square-foot mall, perched on the east side of the Colorado Avenue bridge, will specialize in furniture. It will also feature glass showcases for smaller items, a "rough room" for pieces needing refinishing, a gallery showcase - by escort only - for exclusive, ...
