DENVER - Gun store owners in Colorado are reporting a run on Colt's handguns from customers corralling civilian pistols and revolvers from the company that invented the six-shooter.

"People are coming from all over the state," said Dave Anver, owner of Dave's Guns in Aurora. "We've had people from Leadville, people from Longmont, from Colorado Springs, from Castle Rock."
