USA.Net lands United/ Springs company signs a deal for its largest customer so far, a contract worth millions.

Colorado Springs-based USA.Net Inc. has closed a multimillion-
dollar deal with United Airlines to handle the e-mail services used
by the airline's 90,000 employees worldwide.
The deal is a big win for USA.Net for several reasons. It gives
USA.Net an even higher profile in the emerging and competitive world
of providing and servicing corporate e-mail accounts, called
outsourcing. United is USA.Net's biggest customer.
Also, the deal furthers USA.Net's contention that e-mail
outsourcing is an enormous up-and-coming trend in the corporate
world.
