Be ready for heavenly sounds with visit by Tallis Scholars

It's that sound - soaring upward, with an unearthly lightness that's somehow combined with a sense of supreme confidence. When describing the Tallis Scholars, who perform next Thursday at Colorado College's Shove Chapel, it's hard not to use the word "angelic."

The 10-member English group, one of the world's premier interpreters of Renaissance a capella music, is making its first visit to Colorado Springs as part of an annual tour of the United States that includes concerts in New York, Boston, and Philadelphia.
