As society focuses on a cleaner environment, government
officials, automakers and educators are looking to alternative fuels
that may lead to different types of engines.
One viable solution may be the gas turbine engine because it is
capable of running on many different alternative fuels including
methanol, ethanol, gasoline, diesel, natural gas, kerosene-based
aviation fuels and powdered coal. And, industry studies show the
engine produces low exhaust emissions yet offers excellent fuel
economy.
