Damian more in tune with music than his TV fans know

The comparisons to Jack Wagner and Rick Springfield may be
unavoidable, but Michael Damian doesn't want to be known as just
another made-for-TV singer.
Although he has portrayed rock musician Danny Romalotti on the
soap opera "The Young and the Restless" for eight years, he says the
real Michael Damian - rock musician - isn't some prefab creation
from a TV writer's imagination.
