Considine says he won't run for U.S. Senate / Lawmaker bows to Brown

DENVER - State Sen. Terry Considine announced Friday that he will
not enter the Colorado U.S. Senate race, leaving U.S. Rep. Hank
Brown with one potential challenger for the Republican nomination.
That man, state House Majority Leader Chris Paulson of
Englewood, said he is still considering whether to run for the seat
being vacated by Sen. Bill Armstrong.
Considine, of Cherry Hills Village, had maintained he would wait
until after the legislative session had ended in May to reveal his
intentions.
