Sen. Tim Wirth brought his global warming road show to Colorado
Springs on Wednesday, and about 500 people turned out to hear the
scientific and political aspects of the "greenhouse effect."
"What we're talking about is changing the temperature by 10
degrees in the next 100 years," said Stephen Schneider, a scientist
with the Boulder-based National Center for Atmospheric Research.
