Saba Douglas-Hamilton and Frank Pope lead a primitive life; their home is a wooden shack in a giraffe sanctuary looking over the Ngong Hills in Kenya, where Saba has to climb trees to get reception for her radio and warthogs join them for breakfast. Saba is a BBC wildlife film producer and presenter; Frank is a maritime archaeologist and author. 'Neither of us is particularly materialistic,' says Frank. But they are also both keenly ambitious. 'We are allies and match one another stride for stride, enjoying each other's successes,' he continues.
