Bonaparte garners solid review

THE CAPITAL-JOURNAL
Norton Bonaparte is doing an above-average job as Topeka's city
manager, city council members concluded early Monday evening during
their first annual review of his performance.
Councilwoman Lana Kennedy said council members gave Bonaparte an
overall score of "4" in written evaluations ranking his performance
on a scale of 1 to 5.
Council members last week filled out the forms assessing the job
done by Bonaparte, 53, who took office last March under a contract
that pays him $137,500 a year and calls for the council to review
his performance annually.
