President George W. Bush's decision to end the American Bar Association's screening of judicial candidates was largely an inside- the-Beltway affair -- but that doesn't mean Oklahomans aren't paying close attention.

William Paul, an Oklahoma attorney and former president of the ABA, believes Bush's decision will have disastrous consequences in the future.
