Picnics, cookouts, family and the 4th of July

American tradition calls for the American public to spend the
Fourth of July holiday at family picnics, cookouts, fireworks
displays, the lake, parks, festivals and patriotic celebrations.
Crossroads Mall's "Old Glory-ology" survey found that 80.2 percent
of the shoppers questioned plan to go to or have a cookout or watch
fireworks as part of their July 4 plans.
Hot dogs and hamburgers were selected as the most patriotic foods
in the Crossroads Mall survey beating out apple pie by a little over
2 percent of the vote.
With July 4 falling on Tuesday this year, many people will take
off from work ...
