ARTS COUNCIL REPORTS DEFICIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986

A deficit of $21,486 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1986, was reported Thursday by the Arts Council of Oklahoma City.

The deficit, which compared with an excess of $44,781 in 1985, was reported after $47,000 in support by the Allied Arts Foundation. Without that Allied Arts contribition, the Arts Council reported an operations deficit of $68,486.

Total revenue was up 5.7 percent for the fiscal year, the Arts Council reported, but expenses were up 11.2 percent.
