CAPITOL STEEL FILES CHAPTER 11 PETITION

Capitol Steel Corp. of Oklahoma City filed a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Wednesday, nearly two months after an involuntary petition placed the firm in Chapter 7 liquidation.

The involuntary case was filed Dec. 18 by Red Rock Pate Distributing Co., K.P. Supply Co. Inc. and Allied Oklahoma Bank, all of Oklahoma City.
