SIR ELTON JOHN went on a 40 million spree over 20 months spending
293,000 on flowers alone, the High Court heard today.
"Yes, I like flowers," he admitted and then explained: "I don't
have any people to leave money to. I am a single man. I like to spend
money."
The 53-year-old superstar, who bought property worth 9.6 million
in the same period, took the witness stand in court 17 for the first
time in a multimillion pound contract battle with "the men in suits",
