Tilbury bid on Bandt's wavelength
|
CONSTRUCTION and engineering group Tilbury Douglas today launched
a GBP 75.7 million takeover bid for Bandt, the scaffolding and
industrial services company.
Tilbury's 53.8p-a-share recommended offer comes two weeks after
Bandt revealed it had been approached by suitor and reflects a
premium of 15.8% to the company's closing price on 21 June.
Tilbury, advised by Cazen-ove, is offering seven new shares and
GBP 32.24p in cash for every 100 Bandt shares.
It has received irrevocable acceptances representing 56% of Bandt
