MEDICAL teams were immunising rescue workers against typhoid and warning of health dangers today as more decaying bodies were pulled from the rubble left by Turkey's devastating quake.

An outbreak of cholera has been reported in Yalova, one of the worst-hit towns - once a relatively wealthy resort and commuter area on the sea of Marmara.

Throughout the region, where millions have spent three nights outdoors with no lavatory facilities, cases of diarrhoea are multiplying with no medical help in sight.
