Football: Passport control clears Holland for duty

THE ANDORRA and Republic of Ireland squads found themselves lining
up for an identity parade ahead of this evening's World Cup
qualifying tie as Fifa, the game's world governing body, stepped up
their checks on players' passports and eligibility yesterday.
The Fifa match observer, Leon Walker, of Switzerland, asked to see
both sets of players, with passports, at their respective hotels.
Although passport numbers have to be listed on the team-sheets handed
in on international match-days, it was the first time officials could
